Following her debut as the new most powerful captain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Brie Larson will be taking a role in a much more terrestrial law-enforcement sector. Apple has given a straight-to-series order of a CIA drama drawn from the life of a real intelligence officer. The forthcoming memoir Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA by Amaryllis Fox (which is an actual person’s name, not an extremely cool spy call sign) will provide the basis for the series, which Larson will star in and executive produce. Animal Kingdom writer Megan Martin is in talks to executive produce alongside Larson, as well as write, and like all those Apple movies and TV shows in development, you can expect it at some indeterminate time in the future.
