Although the film still doesn’t have a title, we now know that the Roger Ailes downfall movie will premiere December 20. The film is produced by Charlize Theron, who will also star as Megyn Kelly. Joining her is Jonathan Lithgow as Ailes and every blonde in entertainment as the women of Fox News. Nicole Kidman will play Gretchen Carlson, whose sexual harassment lawsuit was the beginning of the end for Ailes. Margot Robbie “plays news producer Kayla Pospisil,” according to Deadline. Also featured in the film are Malcolm McDowell, Kate McKinnon, Alice Eve, Alison Janney, and Mark Duplass. Jay Roach is directing. The Roger Ailes movie will open opposite the also-untitled Star Wars: Episode IX and the also star-studded adaptation of Cats.
