Let the power of tween nostalgia continue to compel you! The recently united Jonas Brothers, more than a decade after making us swoon on the Disney Channel and then trying to make us forget they made us swoon on the Disney Channel, have achieved their inaugural No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Per Billboard data, the trio’s comeback banger “Sucker” finally propelled them to the top of the charts, which may or may not have been aided by Nick Jonas’s very cute nuptials to Priyanka Chopra. (Also, important sidebar: “Year 3000” or “Lovebug” never made it to No. 1 for the band. For shame, listeners of the country, for shame!) The highest the Jo Bros had previously been on the charts was at No. 5 with the bop “Burnin’ Up” in 2008, and soon after, they embarked on a lengthy hiatus that only just ended. Welcome back, boys.
