Somewhere in the television void between her briefcase game shows and very well-dressed legal dramas, Meghan Markle shot a pilot for Comedy Central titled The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down, alongside noted funny bros Adam Pally and Max Greenfield. As most pilots inevitably do, the 21-minutes of sex, drugs, alcohol, and more sex — teased as a “somewhat outrageous” look at Los Angeles party culture — was deemed unworthy to air, although it’s now being royally picked up from the cutting-room floor for reasons, well, you can probably discern. As Greenfield revealed on last night’s The Late Late Show, someone purchased the distribution rights to the raunchy pilot, and it’s likely making its way to our screens very soon. “I got some sort of email recently saying, ‘This person has bought it and they’re putting it out’ and I was like, ‘Great, good for you,’” he said. “I would assume they have their reasons to why they’re putting it out.” Not for a Duchess of Sessex pun, that’s for sure.
