According to Deadline, Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer are currently in talks to debut the first film in the MMOS (Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer) universe, Netflix’s Thunder Force. McCarthy’s actor and director husband Ben Falcone will write and helm the film, which reportedly follows the pair’s characters as they gain superpowers. Sounds like your screenplay about what happens when someone gets bitten by a radioactive Octavia Spencer or Melissa McCarthy is safe … for now.
