Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas Returns to HBO in April

The second season of Wyatt Cenac’s HBO series Problem Areas now has a premiere date and trailer. Renewed by the network last May, the series heads back to HBO with a new batch of episodes on Friday, April 5, at 11 p.m. This time around, the series will focus on education in America, with segments filmed in West Virginia, Oregon, California, and Minnesota. Cenac will take a closer look at issues like teacher pay, mental health for students, and the school-to-prison pipeline, plus other topics outside of education, including “the unionization of fast-food workers and the potential dangers of facial recognition software, as well as comedic solutions to lighter topics, such as how to get more steps in at the office or how to teach kids practical skills, like filing taxes.” Check out the trailer above, and catch the rest when the show returns in April.
