Saturday Night Live just dropped some huge hosting news. Former writer and cast member Adam Sandler will return to the show next month to make his hosting debut on May 4, where he’ll be joined by returning musical guest Shawn Mendes. Lorne Michaels commented on the news in a press release, saying, “We are happy to welcome Adam back to SNL in what is sure to be a special night.”

Sandler’s latest comedy special, 100% Fresh, debuted on Netflix late last year, and he also recently announced a 100% Fresher album and tour kicking off at the end of May. Prior to Sandler’s SNL episode, Kit Harington hosts for the first time this weekend with musical guest Sara Bareilles, followed by returning host Emma Stone — just shy of the Five Timers’ Club — on April 13 with musical guest BTS.
