Sometimes the internet spreads misinformation about vaccines to the point that New York has a measles epidemic, and sometimes it’s good. It’s very, very good. Responding to a Twitter prompt asking what your weirdest celebrity encounter was, Jackée Harry said Eartha Kitt once “slapped the f%#!” out of her. “She thought I was sleeping with her boyfriend,” said Harry in the same tweet, “which I was.” Harry and Kitt were apparently dating the same piano player, unbeknownst to Harry. It would be an honor to get smacked by someone as legendary as Eartha Kitt. When she sang “I Want to Be Evil,” you believed it. And, for what it’s worth, the dick was good. “He didn’t just eat the groceries,” Harry said, “he restocked the shelves.”
