Ross Butler, yet another boy you’ve loved before, has joined Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel. You have previously loved Ross Butler on Riverdale, and then loved him again on 13 Reasons Why, and now you will love him as the best friend of Peter Kavinsky. (You almost loved Ross Butler in Crazy Rich Asians, but fate — and a guy named Henry Golding — intervened.)

“We’re thrilled to announce that the endlessly charming Ross Butler has joined the cast of the To All the Boys sequel as Trevor Pike,” producer Matt Kaplan told Entertainment Weekly. “His real-life friendship with Noah brings a natural chemistry and great rapport to the set and we can’t wait for fans to see this friendship play out onscreen.” In the words of Laura Dern as Renata Klein, I said thank youuuuuu!

Lana Condor, John Corbett, Janel Parrish, and Anna Cathcart are all returning for the sequel, a movie in which new guy John Ambrose McClaren (Jordan Fisher) will definitely have his work cut out for him.
