Watch Alien: The Play Staged by New Jersey High School and Feel Your Chest Burst With Pride

If you don’t live in the tristate area and missed out on seeing the high-school production Sigourney Weaver gave two chests way bursted, don’t worry. North Bergen High School’s Alien: The Play is currently on YouTube in its entirety. Check out those hand-crafted special effects (not to mention that sound and lighting design) while you can! Weaver even stopped by the unofficial stage production of her 1979 sci-fi classic in New Jersey on Friday.

The actress introduced the play’s Ridley Scott–supported encore performance with some words of encouragement, in addition to visiting the cast and crew backstage. “This is the night I have been waiting for. I am so excited,” the Alien actress told the audience, which you can see in the video above. “I’ve only been here a couple of hours, but I can tell this is a very special place in a very special town.” Until, of course, the xenomorph escapes the auditorium.
