You know how life is: You spend a few hours scrolling through your phone while people mill around you, and suddenly you look like an ageless personification of evil. Okay, maybe that’s not a universal experience, but that is true of Zachary Quinto, who’s starring in AMC’s NOS4A2 (sound it out and it sounds like “Nosferatu”) as Charlie Manx, a “supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children.” In the show, which looks pretty wild, he then deposits what remains of said children in Christmasland (not as fun as it sounds), or at least that’s his usual MO, until a girl named Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) gets in his way. The show’s all based on Joe Hill’s novel of the same name, and it’s coming to AMC June 2. Until then, like Zachary Quinto, enjoy checking your phone.
