Rom-coms are back, baby, and if there’s one person who’s spent her entire career honing both sides of the hyphenate, it’s Anna Kendrick. According to Deadline, the Pitch Perfect 3 actress will star in and executive produce the first season of Love Life, a romantic comedy anthology series from Lionsgate Television that’s headed to WarnerMedia’s streaming service.

Kendrick’s A Simple Favor director Paul Feig will also executive produce the ten-episode season, which is reportedly “about the journey from first love to last love, and how the people we’re with along the way make us into who we are when we finally end up with someone forever.” Creator Sam Boyd is set to direct the pilot. Every season will reportedly feature a different protagonist, with each half-hour episode “telling the story of one of their romantic relationships.” Meanwhile, our season of Love Life would be one to three episodes long, but you know what, that’s probably why they haven’t bothered to ask us yet.
