The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has charged Keya Morgan with elder abuse and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, according to Deadline. Morgan was the business manager of the late Marvel creator Stan Lee, who filed for a restraining order against Morgan last summer. Morgan faces felony counts of false imprisonment of an elder adult, theft, embezzlement, and forgery or fraud against an elder adult and an elder abuse misdemeanor count. He is alleged to have isolated Lee from his family and friends after taking over his business affairs and personal life in February 2018. Deadline also cites Los Angeles Superior Court filings from 2018 that accuse him of embezzling or misappropriating $5 million worth of Lee’s assets. Lee passed away in November, several months after suspicions of elder abuse first came to light. Eventually, Lee sued another former business manager, Jerardo “Jerry” Olivarez, for financial abuse and stealing his blood to sell in Las Vegas.
