The contest to win all those ceremonial chairs will be concluding on HBO this evening, in a finale that’s destined to be the very last show we’ll all watch together. But before we say good-bye to Game of Thrones for good, let’s check in to see if the showrunners are inspiring confidence for a fulfilling finale, shall we? Because what could possibly go wrong! There aren’t any loose ends to tie up at all! In a recent interview with EW, newbie Star Wars scribes David Benioff and D.B. Weiss revealed their plans for tonight will be a complete and utter avoidance of any GOT discourse, ideally a few glasses deep into some expensive liquids.

“We’ll in an undisclosed location, turning off our phones and opening various bottles,” Weiss admitted. “At some point, if and when it’s safe to come out again, somebody like [HBO’s GOT publicist] will give us a breakdown of what was out there without us having to actually experience it.” Added Benioff: “I plan to be very drunk and very far from the internet.” Just remember, boys. You can run, but you definitely can’t hide from Twitter.
