Last year, HBO ordered a Lorne Michaels–produced Spanish-language comedy series created by and starring Fred Armisen, Saturday Night Live writer Julio Torres, and Chris Gethard Show alum Ana Fabrega called Los Espookys, and today the network dropped the first trailer to get you excited (and maybe a little creeped out?). The six-episode series centers on “a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business,” and in addition to Armisen, Torres, and Fabrega, the trailer also features their co-stars Bernardo Velasco, Cassandra Ciangherotti, and José Pablo Minor alongside guest stars like John Early, Lorelei Ramirez, and others. The series debuts on HBO Friday, June 14, at 11 p.m., so thankfully we won’t have to wait much longer to dive into what appears to be a wonderfully bizarre new comedy world.
