The premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s new movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is only a day away, and the director posted a plea to Twitter on Monday morning. Beloved Cannes audience, please — please — do not spoil whatever hijinks Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie get into in the film. “I love Cinema. You love Cinema,” Tarantino wrote in a message posted to the movie’s official Twitter account. “It’s the journey of discovering a story for the first time. I’m thrilled to be here in Cannes to share Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood with the festival audience. The cast and crew have worked hard to create something original.”

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set in the late 1960s, and stars DiCaprio and Pitt as an actor and his stunt double, respectively. Robbie is playing Sharon Tate. (There are also a million other very famous people in this thing.) Everyone else will have to wait until Once Upon a Time’s July release to see exactly what secrets Tarantino is trying to keep. Maybe some groovy revisionist history?
