TV’s first all-Latinx writers room has returned, and it seems Vida’s second season is going for a complex Cheers-meets-east-Los-Angeles vibe. In this new trailer for the Starz drama, Chicana sisters Lyn (Melissa Barrera) and Emma (Mishel Prada) are all-in on transforming their late mother’s bar for the millennial era, even if it means succumbing to the temptation of giving it a “swanky, Insta-famous lounge” aesthetic to keep it from the clutches of foreclosure.
