In this exclusive clip from the romantic comedy Plus One, Erskine and Quaid have a high-level discussion about the implications cuddling could have on their friendship. Alice and Ben are college friends who’ve made a pact to be each other’s perma plus-one for a year packed with weddings. (One could say the duo is booked and busy!) The cuddling conundrum: What if Ben gets a boner — or even worse, what if he doesn’t? “If I get a boner, you’ll think that I think you’re attractive, and you’ll never let me live that down,” he tells Alice, who promises that she won’t read any subtext into his boner. “You’re gonna read the boner,” he replies. “I’m not!” she says, rolling her eyes.
