In case you forgot to text her, please know that Wednesday was Ariana Grande’s 26th birthday. But she didn’t have time to celebrate with a star-studded blowout befitting a celebrity of her stature. No, like most people who’ve reached the latter half of their 20s, Ariana marked the occasion with a muted celebration while at work. The singer was performing in Toronto for her “Sweetener” world tour, and during the performance, her family came out to lead the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to her. Backstage, Scotiabank Arena set up Grande and her crew with a party space that was decorated in the theme of “the birthday party of literally any child.”
She also got a very special birthday shout-out from Barbra Streisand! And also Larry King, because sure, why not.
