In honor of the 15th anniversary of To the 5 Boroughs, the Beastie Boys released a digital deluxe version of the album that includes 12 new tracks. Most of these songs, before now, were only available as B-sides on singles. According to Rolling Stone, tracks such as “Rizzle Rizzle Nizzle Nizzle” and Just Blaze’s remix of “Ch-Check It Out” could previously only be found on global singles for “Right Right Now Now” and “An Open Letter to NYC.” Last year, surviving members Adam Horovitz and Mike D released a memoir reflecting on the band’s origins and legacy. And earlier this year, they made a mini-documentary with Amazon Music in honor of Ill Communication’s 25th anniversary.
