In the wake of Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody, audiences have a taste for glam-rock biopics (or, at least, Hollywood sure thinks they do!), and there are few front men more glam than Boy George. Sacha Gervasi, director of My Dinner With Hervé and Hitchcock, has reportedly begun developing a biopic about the Culture Club singer. In the meantime, you can’t blame George for floating a few casting suggestions into the ether. It should go without saying that his first pick to play himself is (say it with us) Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.

“There’s been some really interesting suggestions,” the singer recently said on a radio show with the delightfully Australian name of Fitzy and Wippa. “One of the most interesting suggestions was Sophie Turner. [People will say] ‘She can’t play you. She’s a woman, you know.’ But when I was 17, I would have loved to have been her.” And, sure, while we all want Sophie Turner to play us in a biopic at some point, Boy George is already lightyears ahead of most people now that the Dark Phoenix star has co-signed the idea on Twitter. As Turner tweeted on Monday, “I’m SO down.”
