On Friday, Amazon released the first teaser for Undone, a trippy, pretty, scary series from BoJack Horseman writer-producers Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg. No stranger to being animated, Big Mouth and Alita: Battle Angel actress Rosa Salazar stars as Alma, the survivor of a “near-fatal accident” who, according to TVLine, awakens to discover “a mysterious ability that allows her to travel through space and time.” The person bringing Alma up to speed on the whole “you now have a super power” thing? Her late father Jacob, portrayed by Bob Odenkirk, who hopes to guide his daughter to the past to prevent his death. No pressure, Alma. The series, which gains its realistic yet surreal animation style from rotoscoping over live-action footage, does not have a specific release date as of yet.
