You knew something was coming, but even the most wishful-thinking Halloween fan has to be surprised by today’s news. Jamie Lee Curtis, Queen of House Strode, announced on Twitter Friday that not only is there a sequel to the 2018 movie on the way, there are two of them. And Curtis says she’s “just WARMING UP.” According to a tiny clip of Laurie Strode’s burning death trap of a house, Halloween Kills will arrive on October 16, 2020, with Halloween Ends hitting on October 15, 2021. John Carpenter echoed the news on his own Twitter account. Time to get extremely excited and write your local representative about Judy Greer having a much larger role for the rest of this trilogy.
