Can you believe?! While we were all counting the shops at the Starcourt Mall and/or the Mind Flayer’s rat casualties, Stranger Things French-tucked the hell out of a fun cameo for us to enjoy. As pointed out by Digital Spy, none other than Queer Eye’s William Mahnken appears in the show’s premiere episode as one of the Hawkins Post editors who jeers Nancy (Natalia Dyer) with his fellow chauvinistic colleagues when she tries to chase her big-story dreams. You’ll recall that Mahnken was a fan-favorite Queer Eye “hero” in season two. As a socially anxious Walmart employee in Georgia, he enlisted the Fab 5 to help him organize his life and propose to his girlfriend, Shannan. (It goes very well!)
The couple also appear together in a scene in the second episode, when Hopper (David Harbour) gets stood up at a fancy restaurant.
And they looked great, honey.
