After sashaying down the runway, RuPaul introduces the three illustrious judges for the evening: main stage mainstay Michelle Visage, comedian Alan Carr, and Andrew Garfield. “I feel like a competition winner and the prize is a day in gay heaven,” he thanks Ru. “I’ll let you know what gay heaven is in just a few minutes,” RuPaul flirts. “I’m gonna let you know.” The clip comes from the very first episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, where ten British queens will go head-to-head in order to become the next drag superstar. The first runway challenge is to “rule the runway” with two royal looks. Episodes debut on BBC Three’s iPlayer in October, so if you start sewing now, you might be able to outshine the queens by the time Drag Race airs. No shade!
