Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has talked about running for president before. He has the name recognition and media training, after all. But his visit to The Tonight Show on Wednesday gave us a glimpse at what Dwayne “The Candidate” Johnson might actually look like. While this clip starts with Johnson giving us an overview of his “cheat meals” (which, frankly, are what I would consider just regular, healthy meals), there’s a turn when Fallon asks about Johnson’s support for protesters in Hawaii. He lays out the issue very thoughtfully, but then goes even bigger. “When you have human beings who are hurting, any culture around the world, that’s our indication that we gotta stop,” he said. “Let’s be considerate, let’s be empathetic, and let’s always take care of our people. At the end of the day, it always comes down to that: taking care of the people.” I mean, I’d buy that on a bumper sticker!
