Comedian and actor Dan Soder (Billions) is the latest comedian to snag a stand-up special over at HBO. The network announced today that it’s ordered an untitled hour-long special from Soder. The special, his first on HBO, will be filmed at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on October 23, and Chris Storer (The Comedy Lineup, Ramy) is attached to direct. Additionally, both Jerrod Carmichael and Bo Burnham are credited as executive producers.

In addition to his work on Billions, Soder co-hosts The Bonfire With Big Jay Oakerson on SiriusXM and was featured in Netflix’s stand-up series, The Standups, in 2017 as well as This Week at the Comedy Cellar on Comedy Central last year.

An exact premiere date for the HBO special hasn’t been announced, but it will head to the network sometime in December.
