This fall, Christian Slater is a dead man walking and Amanda Peet is the one to blame! According to a press release from the network, Slater and Peet will star in the second season of Dirty John, which will head to the USA Network from Bravo. The pair will be taking over for our beloved Connie Britton and Eric Bana who starred in season one of the anthology thriller. Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story will follow Peet as the title character, a “perfect Southern California blonde wife and mother” who finds herself embroiled in what Oprah described as “one of America’s messiest divorces, even before it ended in a double homicide.” Slater is set to play Daniel, Betty Broderick’s doomed husband. It’s been a tough week for housewives.
