Ryan Murphy revealed in a Time profile that he will be producing A Chorus Line miniseries, an Andy Warhol series, and an original series starring Patti LuPone for Netflix, as part of a multiyear deal with the streaming giant, because, apparently, this man does not sleep. He is also working on a Marlene Dietrich project with Jessica Lange, though it is unclear if that will be a movie or a series. Murphy, who previously produced shows exclusively for Fox, signed his deal with Netflix in early 2018. He, of course, already produces Pose, American Horror Story, American Crime Story, 911, and 911: Lone Star, as well as Netflix’s Ratched and The Politician. It’s only a matter of time before the man runs out of queer icons to write biopics about. Somewhere, Murphy sits straight up in bed and whispers, “George Michael miniseries.”
