Lil Nas X’s rollout has accomplished all of that and then some. After his Satan shoes with MSCHF caused enough uproar to get recalled, the innovator used the backlash to promote his “Industry Baby” music video and swing a collab with Tony Hawk. Update, Wednesday, September 1, at 12:30 p.m.: Dive right into Montero with the official track list. Lil Nas X finally revealed the track list for his debut album, and now we know why he was being so secretive. The 15-track album has features from Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, and Elton John on top of Jack Harlow’s appearance in “Industry Baby.” It’s an album full of dream collabs, but don’t underestimate his solo stuff. A clip of “Thats What I Want” plays in the background of the announcement — as a naked Lil Nas X floats into the album art — and it’s a whole vibe.
