Harry “Sign of the Crimes” Styles has returned to the Late Late Show dodgeball field, but this time without his boy band and without a lot of his gorgeous hair. In place of his bandmates, he’s got U.K. representatives James Corden, Benedict Cumberbatch, John Bradley, and Reggie Watts, who isn’t British, but is on Corden’s payroll. They face off against ladies from the other side of the pond: Michelle Obama, Mila Kunis, Kate Hudson, Melissa McCarthy, Allison Janney, and Lena Waithe. It’s obvious who’s going to win. The men can’t last five minutes without complimenting Obama or asking if she can sign their copies of Becoming. Nevertheless, the U.K. puts up a good fight, in part thanks to Harry Styles, who is always first to grab a ball, will jump in the air if necessary, and does pilates in his free time. Plus, he’s wearing a little sweatband. It may not be an album or a movie or a reunion of the band that shaped millions of childhoods, but jock!Harry is what will get us through for now.
