Jon Bernthal is Julian Kaye, a former male escort who served 15 years in prison following a wrongful conviction. While he adjusts to life on the outside, Detective Sunday (Rosie O’Donnell) looks into the murder that sent Julian to prison in the first place. What she finds… is revealing.

American Gigolo is a remake of Paul Schrader’s 1980 film of the same name, which starred Richard Gere. David Hollander created the Showtime series, which stars Gretchen Mol, Lizzie Brocheré, Gabriel LaBelle, and Leland Orser in addition to Bernthal and O’Donnell.
