Three former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants — Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela — hit the road rather than the runway as they travel to small towns across America to participate in one-night-only drag shows. The reality show, which airs on HBO Max, is simultaneously the riotous good time you’d expect from Drag Race alums and a poignant expression of identity amidst rising anti-drag and anti-trans rhetoric.
